JAMMU, Oct 10: Students of Apple Kids International Pre-School, Bantalab were taken to Post Office, Janipur to commemorate the ongoing 'National Postal Week. The National Postal Week is celebrated every year in the country from October nine to October 15. To educate the young minds, the school took these little kids to the Post Office so as to make them realize the importance of Postal Services in India. Speaking to the students, Post Master said, "Spread over every nook and corner, the Indian Postal department serves the country for over 150 years." "The outing was mainly conducted to make tiny toddlers know about letter box, Post Office and the process of how a postman delivers the letters to the doorsteps," said Director of the School, Arti Sharma. |
