Contractor Association stages protest over delaying payments 12/18/2014 12:10:34 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 17: The Contractor Association of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Power Development Department (PDD) on Wednesday staged protest demonstration and flayed the Government for not releasing cash against their cheques. Number of contractors gathered in front of the Sadar Treasury Town Hall and raised slogans against the General Account and treasury for their failure in releasing the payments in different treasuries of state. While addressing the gathering, President Narinder Gupta said that contractors were fighting for their right for releasing pending payment in different treasuries last one and half month ago but till today the payments of the contractors have not been released, he added.
