| Drug peddler held, 500 gms charas recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 22: Pacca Danga Police today arrested a drug peddler and recovered around 500 gram charas from his possession.
The accused has been identified namely as Gulzar Ahmed of Modli Tehsil/Distt Doda.
"On specific information a naka was laid by Inspector Daljeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO North at Manda and searched the vehicles, police sources said.
"During search, police party checked the Bus bearing regd no JK06-5925 and recovered 500 gram charas from the possession of the above mentioned accused who was arrested on the spot while contraband was seized.
In this regard, a case under FIR No. 15/2015 under section 8/20 Narcotics drug and Psychotropic Substance (NDPS) Act has been registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation of case is going on. |
