Jammu, Jan 22 (JNF): 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, M K Sharma rejected the bail application of Labha Ram, one of the accused, facing trial in a murder case of Ajit Singh Dogra Deputy Advocate General (DyAG) who was murdered on January 10, 2008. After hearing both the sides, 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, MK Sharma observed that the trial is in progress and the investigation officer is being examined and a this stage it is difficult to comment that there are no reasonable grounds for believing that the petitioner/accused has not committed the offences of which the accused are charged. And with these observations Court rejected the bail application. According to the case that deceased Ajit Singh Dogra Deputy Advocate General was stooped on January 10, 2008 by the accused persons and started firing and thereafter attacked with sharp edged weapon with intention to kill the Ajit Singh Dogra. The deceased in a serious condition was admitted in the GMC Jammu and later on shifted to Delhi where he died. A case u/s 302/341/147/149/34 RPC r/w section 4/25 Arms Act was registered against accused persons namely Vishal Sharma alias Vishu, Ashok Kumar alias Shoka, Amrish Khjauria alias Max, Labha Ram alias Sanjay, Raj Kumar alias Raju, Gourav Sharma alias Dana and Mohan Singh alias Mona and after completion of the investigation challan was presented in the Court of law. |
