Jammu, Jan 22: State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC) on Thursday warned to start agitation against the state administration for not redressal their pending demands. Addressing the media persons, Sushil Sudan said before announcing agitational programme, it was decided to approach Governor for his appraisal. He further said the agitation for redressal of the demands of the employees which included, release of 17 percent DA, regularization of daily wagers, contractual and adhoc workers, removal of pay anomalies of all cadres particularly clerical cadre, release of funds to the treasuries in orders to clear GP funds, arrears and other claims of the employees/pensioners lying pending since long, increase medical allowance to Rs 1000 per month and others. SGEJAC threaten to state administration not to test their patience, who have already suffered a lot due to its lackadaisical approach. The presidium also appealed employees to remain united under one platform and see the designs of self-styled and retired trade union leaders who are hell bent to create confusion amongst the employees through media. |
