Romeo force organises lecture on quit smoking

Jammu, Jan 22 : In an effort to promote awareness about health amongst the youth residing in the area of Pathanatir, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under Romeo Force organised a lecture on quit smoking on here today.
According to press release, the lecture helped to bring about awareness among the youth of the area regarding health related issues associated with smoking and also provided an opportunity to instill a sense of healthy life among the youth. Sarpanch Adalat Hussain Shah inaugurated the programme and said that "there is an increase in trend of smoking especially in younger generation and this measure initiated by the Indian Army will help to make the youth aware of ill effects of smoking".
He also said that he is grateful to the Army for organising such an event for the youth of the village. He added that this will certainly encourage the youth to avoid smoking and become healthy citizens of the country.
