Jammu, Jan 22: Members of Shankar Vihar Welfare Committee (SVWC) along with the residents of the colony met with MLA west Sat Pal Sharma and projected their problems of low voltage, erratic electric supply, worst Road condition and other miseries faced by residents. According to press release, they handed over a memorandum of demands which includes for installing an additional transformer to meet up the poor voltage and erratic power supply and demand for repairing of approach roads to the colony to be dealt by the Commissioner Jammu Municipal Committee. A routine meeting of Executive, Advisory and working committee members of Shankar Vihar Welfare Committee was also called, where in the sincere approach of the MLA was highlighted who assured the solve the long pending problems faced by people. Among others who were presented on the occasion included SK Sharma, BL Rawal, RK Ahluwalia, Ashok Sharma, Naveen Kapoor, RK Anugurana, Sanjay Baru, Tilak Raj, DN Raina, Mukesh Khanna and Romesh Kuchroo. |
