Jammu, Jan 22: With this in view of certain recent incidents across the globe necessitate training children to take steps to avoid, minimize damage to life, a lecture was organized in JK Public School, Kunjwani followed by a mock drill in order to be prepared to handle any unexpected eventualities on Thursday.
According to press release, the school sprang into action and beefed up their security and issued guidelines to the students and teachers in dealing with such situations.
The school prepared an evacuation plan for various areas in the premises to ensure the safety and security of the students. It also ensured that a system is in place to set off the alarm, alert the police and respond to medical emergencies.
Later, the school has planned to organize such mock drills at regular intervals for the students during school hours. |
