| JAMMU, Jan 22: All Jammu and Kashmir Oil Tanker Driver and Cleaner Union today held meeting under the chairmanship of Khair Din Wani here at HPC Depot Rail Head Jammu. According to press release, Union president Wani said that some people with vested interest try to malign the image of the elected members of the union. "Issuing the wrong statement in media by issuing a fake press release in the name of union", he said and added that they have lodge a FIR regarding the whole episode for issuing the fake press release and illegal and illogical no confidence motion notice to the members. He further said that the legal no confidence motion can be served under rule 26 quaoted as at least 400 members of the union can bring no confidence motion against any office bearer, the president shall convey the general body house meeting not less than one third of the total members. The no confidence can be accepted as approved by the labour commissioner. Joginder Singh, Shami Kapoor, Ranjeet singh, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani and Harmeet Singh were also present on the occasion. |
