Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 1: Jodhamal school witnessed its farewell party hosted by the students of Class XI and dedicated to the 2015 batch of Class XII students of Jodhamal Public School.
The day started with great excitement and merriment, as all the Class XII students dressed up to their glamorous best and arrived for the ribbon cutting ceremony: the boys looked dashing in their tuxedos and the girls, who never fail to put on a show, were draped in gorgeous saris bought for the occasion.
Class XI presented a beautiful Cultural Programme with the title ceremony. Head Girl Raggad Rafiq was adorned with the title of the Ms. Jodhamal whereas Sanchit Sharma was adjudged the Mr. Jodhamal. Muskan Jain and Mayank Mahajan were awarded as Ms. & Mr. Perfect whereas Anmol Mahajan & Meenal Jain were awarded the Mr. & Ms. Charming. Khushboo Khorana was given the best well dressed and Samiksha Thusso was adjudged " The Student of the Year 2015"
It was then that the Eleventh and Twelfth Standards felt the real pain of separation and grief washing over them. They felt desperate to hold on to these last few precious moments of togetherness and tears rolled down their cheeks. The girls, with their mascara lined eyes filled with tears, forgot their worries about spoiling their outfits and clung on to each other to share their sorrow mixed with salty water. The boys tried to remain calm and composure but the atmosphere was one of mourning. Finally, the Eleventh Standard had to at last let go of the seniors, the backbone of the school, after 10 long years of living together, eating together, laughing at silly pranks and crying over bitter fights. Students of class XI had to take heart and wish their seniors all the luck and love in the world to make their fortune outside. There ended a beautiful day marked with both happiness and sorrow and lots and lots of love.Principal Trilok Singh Bist & Vice Principal Ms. Monika Sethi wished all the students good luck and the very best for all their future endeavours. Trustee Mr. Nandan Kuthiala in his message to class XII asked the kids to pack their sunglasses as they might need it in future since the future for all the outgoing students is going to be very bright.Class XI & their teachers particularly Ashima Sharma Ma'am made the day a memorable one with their meticulous planning and execution.
