Jammu, Mar 15: Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sunday issued provisional calendar for the sittings of 1st Session of the 12th Legislative Assembly.
As per the Provisional Calendar, starting from March 18, with Governor's address to Legislature, the House sittings would continue till April 9, 2015.
According to official spokesman discussion on motion of thanks on Governor's address and reply thereto will be held on March 19 and March 20, the Annual Statement of Expenditure for the year 2015-2016 and Presentation of Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for the year 2014-2015 will be on March 22, general discussion on budget will be held on March 23rd and 24th ending with reply thereto.
Spokesman adds that the demands for grants for various departments would be presented from March 25th to March 29th and the Appropriation Bills and Private Members Bills will be taken up on March 30th and March 31st.
Similarly, Private Members Resolutions will be taken up on April 1st, while Government Business, Private Member's Bills, Private Members Resolutions and Government Business, if any will be taken up on April 6th , 7th , 8th and 9th respectively. |
