ALC's absence in meeting irks CAPD, RDD Ministers
Asks DDC to recommend his suspension

RAJOURI, Mar 15: Annoyed over the absence of Assistant Labor Commissioner (ALC) from District Plan review meeting, which was held on Saturday, Ministers for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution (CA&PD) and Rural Development Department (RDD) directed District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri to recommend the higher authorities for the suspension of the officer.
Both the Ministers also directed Executive Engineer, PHE Nowshera Division, Vinod Gupta to leave the meeting hall as he failed to give satisfactory reply to the queries made by them regarding reinstating Water Supply Schemes which were damaged in the September month's devastating flash floods.
Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali, MLA Darhal and Minister for CA&PD and Tribal Affairs after assuming the office was on his maiden tour to his home town on Saturday.
He was accompanied by Abdul Haq Khan, Minister for Rural Development and both the Ministers on reaching Rajouri were accorded a warm welcome by the people of the district.
Both the Ministers later chaired the District Plan review meeting at Conference Hall at Dak Bungalow which was also attended by Nowshera MLA Ravinder Raina and Choudhary Qamar Hussain MLA from Rajouri Constituency.
During the proceedings of the review meeting and after several complaints of unsatisfactory working in the office of Assistant Labor Commissioner Rajouri and when the Ministers didn't find Ajiz Bhatti, Assistant Labor Commissioner in the important review meeting to explain his position, they (Ministers) directed Deputy Commissioner Deepati Uppal, for recommending his suspension with immediate effect.
Ravinder Raina, MLA Nowshera had raised the issue that PHE department has failed to restore damaged PHE schemes in Nowshera Constituency.
Hamid Chowdhary, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) when contacted said that Deputy Commissioner have sought the details of the messages sent to every concerned about the review meeting of District Plan by the Ministers on Saturday.
"If Assistant Labour Commissioner found to be deliberately absent from the review meeting, a recommendation letter for his suspension will be sent to higher authorities," said CPO.
While addressing the people at Dak Bungalow both the Ministers describe the present dispensation as ray of hope for people of the State and new coalition will provide effective administration to ensure better delivery of services to the people.
