Locals protest against CAPD 3/28/2015 11:20:01 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Mar 28: Locals of Galiote and Badhota Panchayats in Block Pancheri protested against Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) Department for delay in ration supplies. Local people of Galiote and Badhota Panchayat and Sarpanch of Galiote Surjeet Singh and Badhota Sarpanch Jai Pal Sharma said that remote and rural areas of Galiote and Badhota Panchayats and other have the same story of inordinate supply of ration. Sharma said that with department delivering the ration to the depots after long delays, the CAPD depots often remain closed much to the dismay of the locals of the area.
