Cabinet approves promotion of IAS, KAS officers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 19: The Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, accorded sanction to the promotion of IAS officers to the Selection Grade of IAS (37,400-67,000) + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700 with effect from 01.01.2015. The officers include Saurabh Bhagat, Mohammad Yousuf Dar, Hemant Kumar Sharma, Hilal Ahmed Parray, Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Dilshad Khan, Basharat Saleem, Tsering Angchok, Shafiq Ahmed Raina and Sajad Ahmad Khan. The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the promotion of Prasanna Ramaswamy G, Mr. Niraj Kumar and Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, officers of IAS 2010 batch to the Senior Time Scale of IAS (15,600-39100) + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 with effect from 1st January 2014. It also accorded sanction to the promotion of Deepti Uppal, Bhupinder Kumar and Ramesh Kumar, officers of IAS 2011 batch to the Senior Time Scale of IAS (15,600-39100) + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 with effect from 01-01-2015. In another decision, the Cabinet ordered the release of Selection Grade of KAS in favour of 171 officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS). The Cabinet also accorded sanction to the appointment by promotion of Shyam Sunder Gupta, Pawan Kumar (RBA), Bharat Singh (RBA-PHC) and Mr. Mansoor Aslam Choudhary (ST), officers of J&K Excise and Taxation (Gazetted) Service, to the time scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) (15,600-39100) + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 with effect from 06-12-2010. It also approved release of Grade of Time Scale of KAS (15,600-39100) + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 with effect from 06-12-2010 in favour of Mr. Naresh Kumar Choudhary and Abdul Qayoom Ahanger, retired officers of the J&K Excise and Taxation (Gazetted) Service. Cabinet approves transfers of land for Polytechnic College The Cabinet accorded sanction to the transfer of State land measuring 61 kanals and 15 Marlas, situated at village Jaganoo, Tehsil and district Udhampur to the J&K Technical Education Department, for construction of a Government Polytechnic college. Ration Money Allowance Enhanced The Cabinet accorded sanction to the enhancement of "Ration Money Allowance" in favour of Non-Gazetted Staff in Prisons Department and Fire and Emergency Services Department, J&K from Rs 600 to Rs 1000 per person per month with effect from 01-04-2015. |
