Early Times Report

Jammu, May 6: In a bid to take on anti-national forces working on behest of the Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir to spread anti India rant and with the motive to convert "Kashmir" into Pakistan, the Youth for Nation (social organization) has decided to unfurl the National flag on May 16, 2015 at historic Lal Chowk to express solidarity with thousands of pro-India people who are fighting separatism and Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the details available with "Early Times", social organization Youth for Nation headed by Nimrandeep Singh took the decision in this regard after recent development of hosting of Pakistani flags during the rally of a Huriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani's rally at Hayderpora and Tral wherein Geelani supporters not only waved Pakistani flags, but also raised anti-India and pro-Pakistan slogans, which not only sent shocking waves among nationalist forces, but also outraged the whole nation forcing Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led PDP-BJP government to book Masarat Alam and also put the Geelani under house arrest. In his 2 minute 13 Second video with national flag running in the backdrop that has gone viral on social media, Nimrandeep has challenged separatist leaders like Geelani, Yasin Malik and Masarat Alam that there anti-India rant won't be tolerated anymore.
The message of president Youth for Nation beings with the quotation that "Neither I am Hindu nor Muslim or Sikh-I am an Indian."
"Our fight is not against any religion or political party--- our war is against those anti-national elements who are enjoying everything under Indian law, but are praising Pakistan," said Nimrandeep in his video massage. He added that out soldiers and people who had scarified their lives for the nation's sovereignty are questioning the silence that why we people have failed to give befitting reply to all these anti-national forces (Huriyat leaders).
Disturbed over the growing act of anti nationalism in Kashmir, the Youth for Nation in its message stated that they have decided to host the National Flag at Lal Chowk on May 16th 2015 at 11.30 AM.
"The aim of hosting national flag at Lal chowk is to warn anti-national forces in Kashmir, and to send a message to them that we are united against them" said Nimrandeep in the video message.
He has challenged anti-national elements in the Valley to stop them from hosting the National flag at Srinagar's "Lal chowk".
Youth for Nation claim that they have the support of many national and state organizations. The video ended with a patriotic massage and an appeal has been made to the people to make the event successful by showing their presence at "Lal Chowk" at 11.30 sharp on May 16, 2015.
An email [email protected] has also been mentioned in the video for contact along with some mobile numbers.
It is pertinent to mention that BJP who is coalition partner to PDP in Jammu and Kashmir and also in government at centre had made a similar attempt to host National flag at Srinagar "Lal Chowk" on January 26, 2011, but the then Omar Abdullah led NC-Congress government did not allow the BJP National Youth President Anurag Thakur to host the national flag at "Lal chowk" so as to bring an end to over a month long Tringa yatra.
Even the then leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj (now External Affairs Minister in Modi Government) and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley (now Finance Minister in Modi Government) were sent back from Jammu airport.
It is now to be seen that whether BJP who is part of the government in Jammu and Kashmir will allow the Youth for Nation to host the national flag at Srinagar's "Lal Chowk" or it will meet the similar fate as was seen in the year 2011 when the then ruling government used all its resources and sabotage the much planned BJP event. The PDP which was in opposition at that time termed "Tiranga Yatra" of BJP as stage managed show between the National Conference and the BJP.
