Wagon-R catches fire, three critical

Jammu, May 27: Three youth received critical burn injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in caught fire suddenly after it hit against a diversion point here in village Panjgrian, Nagrota on Wednesday.
"The injured have been identified as Sharad s/o Krishan Lal of Krishana Nagar, Mohit Mahjan s/o Subash Mahajan of Jullaka Mohalla and Romit s/o Rashpaul of Bantalab, police sources said. Sources said, "The youth were travelling in Wagon R vehicle when the driver of the vehicle lost control over it and it hit against diversion point on road. "Soon after it hit against diversion point vehicle caught fire, police sources said, adding that the locals rushed to the spot and evacuated the occupants of vehicle on fire and shifted to the Govt Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu from where they were referred to the PGI Chandigarh for specialized burn treatment. Meanwhile a case in this connection stand registered at Police Station Nagrota.
