Jammu, June 19: A meeting of executive members of PHE Workers Welfare Association (PHEWWA), Jammu Province was held here today under the Chairmanship of Kulbushan Nanda, Secretary of PHE City Division No.1.
According to press release, on this occasion they discussed the various issues of employees and workers specially the long pending wages of the all sorts of daily rated workers of the department.
In the meeting all the executive members criticized the illegal and unlawful attitude adopted by the higher authorities of the department.
They further added that it is unfortunate that poor and innocent C.P. Workers are working without wages for more than twenty months and it is very difficult to make both ends meet in these hard days and higher authorities of the department and State Govt. are enjoying hand and gloves at present and nobody is there to listen the grievances of the employees.
The prominent leaders who were present in the meeting were; Ashok Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Sanjay Bali, Ashok Sharma, Bhanu, Ram Parkash and Ram Dev Singh. |
