All J&K Home Guard highlight problems | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, June 19: All Jammu and Kashmir Home Guard meeting was held at Udhampur here today under the leadership of District President Dharm Singh to highlight their genuine demands especially for the enhancement of salary at par with other states. Addressing media men, Dharm Singh, President of the Association, said that home guards in other states are ebing paid better salaries whereas in Jammu and Kashmir they are being paid only Rs. 545/- per month, i.e. only for 9 working days. He said it is very difficult now-a-days when the prices of all the essential commodities are rising up resulting life miserable for the Home Guards. Anil Pachiala, working president of Congress in Udhampur requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Dr. Jatinder Singh (Union minister of state) in Prime minister's office (PMO) for redressal of their genuine demands. |
