Residents of Kangra Galuta village stage protest against PHE 6/26/2015 11:30:54 PM Early Times Report Mendhar, June 26: People from Kangra Galuta village of Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch today staged a protest against Public Health Engineering department on supplying unhygienic drinking water to the people of the area. A large number of locals of the area assembled outside the office of PHE department in Mendhar and raised slogans in favour of their demands. They said that since last two months, PHE department is supplying unhygienic water to the village and the practice is even going on in the ongoing holy month of Ramzan. They also said that many a times employees of PHE department were asked to correct their fault but of no use as they are still supplying dirty water to the village. Later locals called upon Assistant Executive Officer of PHE who assured them that action will be taken against the local officers of PHE department and it will be ensured that hygienic water is supplied in the area.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
