Nurang Bn organises Medical, veterinary camp at Rakh Barotian | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 26: Nurang Battalion, under Sunrise Brigade of Tiger Division, organised a Medical cum Dental Camp and veterinary Camp at village Rakh Barotian (Gujjar Basti) on 24th June. The camp was inaugurated by Firoz Din, village head in presence of Brigadier Yashpal Singh, Commander Sunrise Brigade and Col MR Jagadish, CO Nurang Battalion. The camp was organised to provide basic medical facilities, generate health awareness and foster good relations with the community. Gujjars and their families of general area of Ramgarh and Vijaypur attended the camp and underwent complete medical and dental check up by the team of doctors from Field Hospitals of Tiger Division. 314 persons including 94 ladies and 57 children were attended by the team of doctors. Moreover, 90 animals were also checked by the Veterinary doctors where they provided free medicines for 1759 animals. The Gujjar Community appreciated this genuine gesture of concern and welfare by the Indian Army and requested for more such camps in the future. |
