| Father, son held with brown sugar | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 23: Police today arrested duo of father and son when police recovered 13 grams of brown sugar and sharp edged weapons form their possession during a naka checking at Miran Sahib in city outskirts. Police said that duo has been identified as Mohd Ishaq Choudhary alias Shaka and his son Zeshan Choudhary alias Jimmy residents Gujjar Colony Channi Himmat Jammu."On specific information party led by Hilal Azhar, SHO Miran Sahib under the supervision of Rajiv Pandey, Officiating SSP Jammu raised a naka at Maralian Miran Sahib and intercepted the suspected duo travelling in swift Desire bearing registration number JK21B-6605," police said. "However the duo tried to escape from the spot but were given a chase by Police", said a spokesman further, adding that they recovered 13 grams of brown sugar while two sharp-edged weapons from the possession of the accused.A case under FIR No. 116/2015 u/s 8/21/22/29 of NDPS Act and 4/25 of Arms Act stands registered at Miran Sahib Police Station. |
