jammu, July 23: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered five (05) litres of illicit liquor from his house during a raid in locality falling under jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah. "The accused has been identified as Viru Ram of Kothey Charkan Bishnah," police said. "On specific information, team led by Inspector Surinder Sambyal, SHO Bishnah, conducted raid at the house of Viru," police spokesperson said. "During search, Police Party recovered 05 Litres desi Liquor which he had concealed in his house illegally", said spokesman further adding that the said accused was arrested while the lot of illicit liquor was seized. A case under FIR No 107/15 u/s 48-A Excise Act stands registered at P/S Bishnah and further investigations are on. |
