Jammu, July 26 : The NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do organised a programme to honour the players of J &K Taikwandoo Association who have won many gold ,silver as well as bronze medals in open Taikwandoo championship held at CRPF camp Batmaloo and the coaches were Nitin Rathore , Aneet Raina , Sidharth Sharma. The NGO encouraged the winners by honouring them in the programme. The motive of the programme was to felicitate the work and sports spirit of such talented sportsmen. Speaking on the occassion ,the president of NGO , Tariq Shah said , " We feel very proud to honour these young talented players who have brought laurels to our state. We just feel the need to motivate them because these are the young seeds that need favourable environment to grow. We also appeal to DDC , Udhampur to encourage their talent with some motivating schemes. They must be provided more opportunities so that they flourish and achieve more. Sports spirit must be encouraged to make this generation healthier and ultimately the nation will grow healthy. " Those who received medals included Harjeet kaur (gold ) , Vishakha ( gold ) , Manshi , Sheetu ( silver ) , Dhananjay (silver ) , Shivom singh ( bronze) , Viraj S Jadhav ( silver) , Yash Kumar ( bronze) , Krishna ( bronze ) and many others. The members of NGO Parveen Akhter , Ajay Rajput Sungh , Pramod sharma , joginder , sanjay , Vijay , Baldev singh and others also participated in the programme along with coach Nitin Raina , Aneet Raina , Sidharth Sharma . |
