AKMRH demands reshuffle relief organization

Jammu, July 26: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders held meeting under the chairmanship of Sunil Pandita here today and demanded as soon as possible reshuffling the relief orgnization.According to press release, Sunil Pandita alleged that despite official declaration made by the Relief authorities more than four months back no reshuffle has been made till date, adding, "delaying in reshuffling has created suspicion among migrants who smell some fishy between the existing staff and higher-ups of the concerned department", he said. In his addressed, he further said that the government made clear-cut policy in state and center over the rehabilitation of migrants in valley and demanded onetime settlement of Kashmiri migrants.
He urged the Relief Commissioner to hold Panchayat or ward election in the township so that real representatives come forward which will ultimately minimize rush of psedo and so called self styled leaders in relief office .Sunil Pandita expressed his deep concern over the condition of residential blocks constructed four years back and said most of the blocks look ugly because of leakages and erosion of plasters and demanded thorough CBI enquiry in to all bunglings made while construction of these flats.The meeting demanded timely supply of ration to the camp inmates and release of cash assistance in the fist week of every Month.
He said that supply of ration items on last day of the month makes the migrant families suffer in many ways.Among others M.L.Pandita , Sunil kumar, Sunil Raina, Rajander Pandita, Rakesh Koul, Sushal and T K Bhat , also spoke in the meeting.
