Ambardar visits various KP transit camps in valley 7/27/2015 12:00:54 AM Early Times Report Srinagar, July 26: BJP MLC Surinder Ambardar today visited various KP transit camps in valley and took stock of the problems being faced by the inmates of these camps who are mostly the employees who have been recruited under PM package. Ambardar while visiting the Sheikhpora colony was appraised about the problems being faced by the inmates which included accommodation and non payment of HRA issues which he was told have been their long pending demands have not been redressed by the authorities .Employees also briefed the MLC about the need for the inter district transfers which they believe should be allowed as they have been perusing the same with all the genuine back ground reasoning. Ambardar was also informed by the inmates of the Sheikhpora colony that most of the issues which he (Ambardar) had taken with the authorities in his last visit have been redressed and work is going on the some of the other related problems of the colony as such BJP MLC also paid a visit to veer-wan migrant transit camp in Baramulla and listened to the grievances of the inmates.He was appraised about the various problems being faced by them which primarily was related to their drinking water woes and drainage problems and was also informed that the electricity supply problem which he (Ambardar) had taken up with the authorities in his last visit has been resolved to a large extent. Ambardar assured the inmates that all their issues will be redressed within due course of time and also spoke to the concerned authorities over the phone and told them to resolve all the pending issues of the people living in these camps without any further delay and further added that he will take up with the government the immediate need to expedite the process of adding more accommodation at various camps MLC also paid a visit to st Joseph's school Baramulla and met the principal of the school and said that the admission process for the wards of the KP's should be made easier and hassle free so that so that they also take benefit of this premiere educational institute as he himself had been a alumnus of the same institute   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
