Suman, Kajal, Munesha win sprint gold in Reasi 8/25/2015 11:08:33 PM Early Times Report REASI, Aug 25 : Suman Devi of High School, Ghair Mari, Kajal Devi of High School, Dadoa and Munesha Devi of Higher Secondary School, Reasi emerged fastest runners in under-14, under-17 and under-19 categories in the annual inter-school district level girls' athletics meet of district Reasi, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here today. Earlier, around 150 female athletes drawn from 20 schools of the district took part in various field and track events of three age groups. District Sheep Husbandry Officer, HS Rana, was the chief guest, who encouraged the athletes. Prominent among others present were Zonal Physical Education Officers, Om Parkash (Reasi), Manohar Lal Sharma (Chassana) and Govind Singh (Pouni). Principal of Amba Kids Home Panthal was also present. The events were officiated by the technical penal including Ashok Kumar, Pardeep Nag, Romesh Chander, Tour Kumar, Ashoka Kumari, Saroj Bala, Ajay Kumar Billa, Opinder Pal Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Asha Devi, Manzoor Hussain and Riyaz Ahmed. The Results (Gold medalists): UNDER-14: 100 meters: Suman Devi of HS Ghair Mari. 200 meters: Isha Devi of Heritage Public School. 400 meters: Priya Devi of MS Bharakh. 600 meters : Naushad of Little Lads School Reasi. Shot Put : Rabia Bhat of HSS Girls Reasi. Discuss : Riya Sharma of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Reasi. Long Jump : Sabia Bibi of HS Kanjali. High Jump : Riya Sharma of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir. UNDER-17: 100 meters: Kajal Devi of HS Dadoa. 200 meters : Arsha Bibi of HS Kanjali 400 meters : Nisha Devi of HS Aghar Jitto. 800 meters: Chitti Devi of HSS Bharakh.1500 meters : Sushma Devi of HSS Bharakh.
