ECPSWA highlights revision of pension issue

Jammu, Aug 25: All Jammu Kashmir Ex Central Paramilitary Services Welfare Association today highlighted the problems and difficulties being faced by them. According to press release, due to nominal pension, the ex servicemen have forced to live a beggar's life and enforcing them to live in poverty. Mohammad Majid, Block President of Vijaypur, while addressing the meeting said that we knock every door of Central/State governments for revision of pension but all in vain, adding, "Due to step motherly treatment of either previous and incumbent government, the 15 lakhs superannuation ex servicemen are forced to live without basic facilities, because, they have not sufficient pension to arrange both the ends meet", he said. Other who were present include Gurbachan Singh, Noor Hussain, Mangal singh, R.L dogra, Bina Devi, Harinder Kour and many other.
