Kishtwar, Nov 17: Two employees were suspended Tuesday for remaining absent during a meeting chaired by Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Abdul Haq Khan in Doda.
Assistant Commissioner Development, Kishtwar, Akthar Hussain Qazi, ordered immediate suspension of Mohammad Ayub and Rajesh Sharma who are posted as Secretary Panchayat Dugga and Technical Assistant Panchayat Sangna, respectively.
Both officials were attached in ACD Kishtwar office until enquiry is completed.
Earlier, the minister convened a meeting to review various schemes under Rural Development Department in Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban districts here.
MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar, MLC Shyam Lal Bhagat, DC Doda, Bhupinder Kumar, DC Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar, DC Kishtwar G.N Balwan, Director RDD Jammu M.L Raina, and other senior officers were present in the meeting. |
