Jammu, Not 17 : Two day Jammu Sahodaya Badminton Championship Boys and Girls hoisted by Army Public School, Nagrota concluded today.
The Championship was declared open by the Chief Guest Col Sudhanshu Sharma. 7 schools namely Heritage public school, APS Domana, APS Bari Brahmana, Bhargava Public School, BSF Senior Secondary School, J K Public School and APS Nagrota participated in the championship with true sportsman spirit.
The final matches were played on Tuesday between BSF Senior Secondary Paloura versus APS Nagrota (Boys) and APS Bari Brahmana versus APS Domana (Girls).
The APS Nagrota (Boys) and APS Domana (Girls) were declared as the winners of the championship. In the Closing Ceremony, the Chief Guest, Col Arun M Kulkarni along with the Principal, Maninder Kaur Kakkar, APS Nagrota felicitated the winner, runner up team and the best player with the prizes and trophies. |
