Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 25: Boarders of Gujjar and Bakerwal PG Hostel continued their hunger strike on the second consecutive day in support of the demands including better facilities at the hostel. While addressing with the media persons, Saleem Choudhary a boarder said that our demands are pending since long, we have presented several memorandum to the Minister for Tribal Affairs, Vice Chairman of Advisory Board and all concerned higher authority but all in vain. "So left with no option we started hunger strike, he said adding, they will continue their stir till our demands are conceded by the concerned authorities. Amid slogans demanding removal of secretary concerned, the protestors said that secretary concerned has befooled us by doling only verbal assurances and did nothing on ground. "Our hostel building is on rent and it has developed cracks, he said, adding, "we are living under constant insecurity in this building. He added that our building is far away from university campus, we can't get central library facilities. Khalid Bashir student of Economics Department said that five students Rukhsar Choudhary, Saleem Choudhary, Sharief Ahmed from Kathua, Iqbal Gorsi and myself presently are on hunger strike.
