Tricolour hoisted upside down R-Day Dress Rehearsal 1/24/2016 11:38:05 PM MS Nazki Early Times Report Poonch, Jan 24 : Officials in this frontier town were cornered on Sunday when locals spotted the national flag hoisted upside down on an official vehicle during a dress rehearsal for forthcoming Republic Day at sports stadium here. Sources said the Additional Commissioner Revenue Shafeeq Ahmed took the salute on the march past while DySP Dar Poonch, Muhammad Shabhir Giri was standing guard behind him on the VIP vehicle but nobody noticed that the national flag has been hoisted upside down on the vehicle. People of the area have expressed resentment over officials showing disrespect to tricolor. "We demand strict disciplinary action against the officials responsible for the goof up.
