Jammu, Jan 24 : Biker Brotherhood Motorcycle Club (BBMC) celebrated its first anniversary on completion of one year. while thanking club members Jugraj Singh President BBMC vowed to way from hustle and bustle of city, club members celebrated occasion by cutting cake. The club has more than 60 active members who are all owners and ardent fans of the motorbikes. The club started in the year 2015 formed by a group of young and enthusiastic friends who got together with the sole aim to bring a change in the way bikes are ridden and to promote safety. Though the team is just a year old they are trying to capture young motivated bikers to bring about a change in the riding style and improve safety in society and simultaneously promoting environmental friendly practices and events. On the occasion, they recalled some of the rides and missions undertaken by the club were Communal harmony ride to Shukrala Mata, Indo pak peace rally to Suchetgarh border, Adventure rally to mughal road, Inter regional communal harmony ride from Jammu to Kashmir and Ladakh, International helmet awareness day mega rally, Bajalta off road track launch to promote adventure sports in J&K and Mega biker rally of more than two thousand bikers in association with traffic police J&K. Among others who present on occasion were Pradeep Dutta bureau chief Times Now, Senior advocate Sheikh Shakeel Ahmad, Member BCCI Ranjeet Kalra, Senior journalist Sunny Dua, Social activist Ruchi Chowhan Khan, Pashmina Goat activist Babar Afzal, President chamber of commerce and industries Rakesh Gupta, SSP Traffic Police Mohan Lal, Deputy Commissioner Commercial Taxes Arvind Kotwaland others. |
