Jammu, Jan 24 : Jammu and Kashmir Economic Reconstruction Agency (J&K ERA) on Sunday, organized a social mobilization campaign for the local residents at Ramlila Maidan, Paloura, Janipur.
According to press release, this compaign was organised to promote community led water conservation and sanitation initiatives among the people of Jammu. The program was organized as a part of the community awareness program under Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded JKUSDIP with an aim to generate awareness.
Nearly 60 people participated in the program. An effort was made to assess the knowledge level of the participants and their practices regarding water and waste management at home and in the neighbourhood. Detailed discussion was held on how to use water optimally waste can be recycled, reused, reproduced and be used as resource. |
