Jammu, Jan 24: A demonstration was held by the inhabitants and the congress activists of Talab Tillo under the leadership of Sanjeev Sharma PCC Leader to protest the apathetic approach of the CAPD by the annoyed inhabitants to express concern over certain burning issues viz. irregular and inadequate ration supply in the area and also the hardships being faced by the people for getting new ration cards issued. According to press release, Sanjeev Sharma expressed deep anguish over inadequate and irregular ration supply. He said that the ration outlets are without ration and people find it too hard to make both ends meet in the prevailing circumstances of inflation and severe cold. Sanjeev Sharma also criticized the CAPD Administration for inefficient handling of administrative affairs. He condemned the Government apathy towards the people who apply for new ration cards. He demanded that the prerequisite condition of PRC should be waived because for PRC the Revenue officials ask for the revenue records of pre 1947. Major chunk of state subjects at that time were landless. He further appealed to Governor NN Vohra to personally intervene and consider the first Assembly electoral rolls (i.e 1951) as the only pre condition for the issuance of Permanent Resident Certificate. This was described as a huge relief for the deserving residents of the state.
