JAMMU, Jan 24: Amid chilly weather, the school educationdepartment has changed the school timings from 10 A.M to 4 P.M. But the private schools seem in no mood to obey the orders.
This order of Government is reportedly is drawn flak as both the school administration and the parents say that the timing is not suitable.
Teachers of private schools said the government go for special vacations in the larger interest of the students in this extreme cold. "It has also been observed that private schools run by females violate the order with impunity. It is pertinent to mention that the order makes clear that any violation of the order by any school shall evoke stern action from the government. Director School education Jammu Smitha Sethi ruled out special vacations. She assured stern action against the schools that violate the order.
