JAMMU, Feb 4: A police station SHO, who was transferred on complaint basis from the headquarter region of Jammu two days back, is nowadays making all out efforts to get his transfer order cancelled.
The first to be approached by him was an ex-minister. Police sources said when the ex-minister called up a senior police officer, he was told that he had been transfer on the basis of public complaints against him.
Let with no other alternative, he was nowadays taking rounds of the residences and offices of some senior police officers, who were known to him. Despite assurance by some of them, his transfer order was yet to be cancelled by the officers concerned, sources said.
He had told his officers that he did not want to leave Jammu, the sources added.
If his transfer order was cancelled at this stage, it would lead to the 'insult' of the officer who had ordered his transfer, sources said.
