BLSKS presents 99th Musical Play 'Ladli Beti'

Jammu, Apr 23: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 99th Musical Play "LADLI BETI" in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM as parts of its regular feature at Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief Guest VK Magotra, former regional director, directorate of field publicity, Government of India, Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government, Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Excide & Romesh Chander, event director were the guest of honors.
Speaking on the occasion chief guest lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan-(NGO) and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. Magotra highlighted the "Ladli Scheme" Government of India said aim of Ladli Scheme is that to alter the position of the girl kid in family /the public. It also aim to help modify the people's mindsets for appropriate taking care of the girl kid and as well as to offer the girl child their birth rights as started in Indian constitutions. Daughters are taking care extremely deprived in current society in contrast to boys in the society. The behavior a girl child takes from the family members is extremely pitiable. To battle all the troubles such as female foeticide warning female sex ratio & to augment the figure of the daughters in the families of the society government has set has set up a variety plans in which a girl child obtains particulars profits According to the scheme the daughter child obtains free education & upbringing with additionally after eighteen years of age she will be permitted to acquire One Lakh Rupees and also said cultural Organizations to contribute in enriching the cultural heritage of the country and inspiring the younger generation to follow the footprints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the Nation.
The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Handoo, K.K.Joshi, M.C.Kotwal, Parul Sharma, Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Rajni Gupta, Neelam Gandotra, Hem Raj, Bhumika Chib, Neelam Chib, Yog Raj, Ritesh Magotra, Payal Sharma, Kuldeep Raj Pooja Gupta, Deevam Jandiyal, Shan Khan, Shival, Rakshit Sharma, Darsh, Rajveer Sharma, Nisha Chib, Arnav Chib, Abhyudaya Sharma, Vandana Gupta, L-danika, Rahul raina, Sonu Gupta, Ayush Bhat and may others presented the enthrilled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
