Jammu, Apr 23: JP World School on Saturday organized 'Inter houses declamation contest in which Tawi House wins inter-house declamation trophy.
According to press release, the programme was orgnaised to build confidence and hone oratory skills among students.
All the four houses of the school - Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi and Tawi took part in it under different class categories- 5th 6th, 7th 8th, 9th 10th and 11th 12th. The competition was inaugurated by the principal of the school, Jitinder Singh Hundal.
The principal, Jitinder Singh Hundal gave away the prizes to the winners and boosted their morale by advising them to participate in such type of activities as these activities help students to develop confidence and improve their communication skills. |
