Kathua, Apr 23: Regional Transport Officer (RTO) Kathua conducted a day long checking on National Highway and realized a fine upto the tune of Rs 4,41,500/- from traffic law violators.
According to spokesperson, the drive against traffic law violators conducted by a team headed by ARTO Kathua Indu Jamwal alongwith Insp Rajiv Kundal, Insp Kamal Kumar and Insp Zahoor Tantrey under the overall supervision of RTO Kathua Amarjeet Singh. The team booked 150 vehicles and realized an amount of Rs 3,86,500 as compounded challan, official said adding, "while 19 other vehicles also challaned for various violations and imposed a fine upto Rs 55,000/- which shall be recovered from offenders in due course of time. |
