Stolen cash, valuable worth lakh recovered, thief held | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 23: Police today claimed to worked out a theft case of Satwari area with the arrest of thief and recovery of Rs 70,000 stolen cash along with gold ornaments worth Rs one lakh. Police spokesman said that on April 20, one Rafiq s/o Lal Din of Jawahar Nagar, Jammu lodged a written complaint in Police Station Satwari that on April 19, some one stole Rs 70000 along with valuables from his house. "Accordingly a case under FIR No 64/2016 was registered at Police Station Satwari and the investigation was started by a special team headed by SHO Police Station Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh under the directions of SSP Jammu Dr Sunil Gupta, police said. “One suspect Rohit of Shanti Nagar, Kunjwani Jammu was confessed his crime police recovered stolen items worth Rs one lakhs, police said. The arrest was made by ASI Mohammed Akram and Insp Manjeet Singh SHO Police Station Satwari under supervision SP South Shahzad Salaria, SP City South.
