Bovine smuggling bid foiled 4/23/2016 10:41:33 PM Early Times Report Poonch, Apr 23: Poonch police today claimed to have foiled a bovine smuggling bid with the arrest of one bovine smuggler besides rescuing two animals from his clutches during a naka checking. According to the police, the police team led by SI Sammer under the over supervision of SSP Poonch Jatindar Singh Johar conducted naka at Puraani Poonch and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK12-7982. "Police team recovered two bovines from a vehicle and arrested the accused identified as Mohd Rafiq s/o Hassan Din of village Qazi Mohra tehsil Haveli district Poonch," police said Accordingly a case under FIR 64/2016 u/s 188RPC has been lodged against accused at Police Station Poonch and investigation is in progress.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
