JAMMU, Apr 23: Additional Director General of Police Security, Mr. Dilbag Singh today promoted 352 police personnel in different ranks of J&K Security Wing.
The promotions have been made after the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), constituted under the chairmanship of IGP Security, Mr. Jagjit Kumar.
Issuing the orders, Mr. Dilbag Singh said that the DPC met on April 21, 2016 and cleared the cases of 11 Head Constables, 339 Selection Grade Constables, 1 women constable and one follower of Security Wing for their promotion. He said that the personnel have been cleared for the promotion on the basis of their seniority and performance.
ADGP has congratulated promoted cops and exhorted them to work with more zeal for the betterment of society in general and police organization in particular.
