NSUI stages protest against Higher Education Deptt 4/25/2016 10:45:31 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Apr 25: National Students Union of India (NSUI) Chenab Valley unit today protested against the Jammu & Kashmir Government and Higher Education Deptt. The protest was led by Mehran Anjum Mir NSUI State Secretary, who while addressing said that the condition of the students of degree college Thatri was at stake while the local representative of Thatri were only supervising the documentary records thus didn't see the actual ground reality. "There is lack of infrastructure in College as there are no proper desks arrangements, and buildings and have only two class room, the students to study under pen sky", he said, adding that students were forced to observe holiday in rains. Mehran also expressed serious concern over the attitude of Govt towards education sector in Thatri. District General Secretary Shajid Rehman Sheikh demanded that the ruined infrastructure of army building should be re-constructed forthwith so that it can be served as a residential building for outside students who are getting education here in Thatri and more probably this building can be used for college till new building for college will be constructed.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
