Minister's brothers openly encroaching prime govt land in Kathua, administration mum 4/25/2016 11:35:12 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 25: The district administration Kathua has reportedly kneeled down before the writ of brothers of a turncoat cabinet Minister, who have been openly encroaching upon prime government land in the heart of town but administration deliberately turned blind eye over such encroachments. Sources informed Early Times for the last few days, the younger brother of the Minister had been raising a shop in the prime government land at Sheedi Chowk. "Concrete poles were erected and construction work was going on openly on the state land, which is worth nearly Rs. 60-70 Lakhs and district administration had reportedly mum due to strong political pressure", sources said. They further informed that the Sunday late night turned out to be a nightmare for the brother of cabinet minister as the district administration, under strong instructions from some senior cabinet minister damaged the illegal structure. The district administration would not have broken the structure, if strong directions would not have been come from state government. "Either CM Mehbooba Mufti or deputy chief Minister Nirmal Singh had ordered the district administration to take action, following which administration woke up from deep slumber and took action", sources said. But the district administration of Kathua is still in slumber as another brother of Minister is reportedly encroaching upon prime government land in nearby khud, traversing adjoining of Krishna marg. "Earlier also this brother of minister had attempted to encroach upon prime land but had failed due to intervention of Minister and now this brother is constructing in the prime government land but despite being aware of the matter, district administration has deliberately ignoring the matter", sources said. They further informed that in few days, the floor would be come up on the new structure, after which the brother would take refugee of court and ultimately the prime government land would be encroached.
