JTC, PCC holds meeting, demands early release of ration

Jammu, Apr 25 : A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement committee and Pradesh Congress Committee (Migrant cell) was held today under the Chairmanship of JTC president Shadi Lal Pandita and demands early release of ration quota for the last three months to Kashmiri migrants Speaking on the occasion, he said Government has accorded approval for release of ration in favour of the Kashmiri Migrants at the previous scales but nothing in this context has yet been made by the authorities at the helm of affairs which has put the migrant community to lot of sufferings. They further said that migrant families who are dependent upon on cash assistance relief having no any other source of income have been facing difficulties in managing their day to day domestic needs besides managing heavy educational expenses of their wards which has adversely affected the educational career of these youth.
Brij Nath Thussoo, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Deepak Razdan, Raj Kumar Bhat, Sunil Koul, R.K. Raina, Makhan Lal Raina and Shuban Raina were also present during meeting.
