Jammu, Apr 25 : The Jammu & Kashmir State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) conducted a one day sensitization program today for key functionaries of school education department for the promotion of various schemes launched by MHRD, Government of India and State Open Schooling Scheme undertaken by J&K State as Nodal Agency, at BOSE office, Rehari Colony, Jammu. The program was chaired by Prof. Zahoor Ahmed Chat, Chairman, J&K State BOSE, who vehemently stressed for cooperation from School Education Department in the successful implementation of the Scholarship Schemes so that the deserving students could get maximum benefit out of these Scholarship Schemes. Furthermore he stressed upon the mission taken by J&K State BOSE to initiate open learning system to augment opportunities for further education, and make it life long process there by help tens of thousands of students who have dropped the formal system or those who cannot attend a regular Institution. The program was attended by- Director School Education, Jammu, Smita Sethi, Chief Education Officers of 10 Districts of Jammu Division, Officers and Officials of Directorate of School Education and J&K State BOSE. |
