| Free medical camp organized | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, May 1: Youth Congress leader and social worker Imtiaz Salaria who was instrumental in organizing much needed camp in this area where health facilities are scarce.
To create awareness and provide medical facilities to the poor and needy populace, Salaria requested Medical officer of Poonch for this noble cause, CMO poonch and BMO Mandi deputed three doctors and two medical assistants. In this day long camp large number of people including children were checked. Further medicine was also provided.
In his address to local people Imtiaz Salaria emphasized on regular checkup and called upon people not to neglect any ailment even if it's minor. He also advised the gathering to fight the disease instead of hiding it and maintained that it could prove vulnerable at later stage if not diagnosed in time. People of the area appreciated Salaria for his untiring and pro-poor attitude. |
