Jammu, Aug 21: Hitting hard on Peoples Democratic Party, National Conference here has reminded the ruling party of its backstabbing policy followed in past years and has stated that opposition is acting more swiftly for restorationof normalcy in valley than that of ruling party.
In a press statement issued here, Youth NC Provincial President Ajaz Jan said that after failing badly in brining situation under control ruling PDP is now following the morally ill track of putting baseless allegations on National Conference.
" Some statements of PDP leaders targeting NC are completely out of context and baseless and are aimed for diverting tension to save it's own skin " Jan said.
" Indeed, PDP should remember it's backstabbing policy when party resulted in collapse of Ghulam Nabi Azad government after Amarnath Yatra Land Row and also tried level best to topple Omar Abdullah government " Jan further stated.
Reacting sharply to some statements of PDP leaders, Jan said that even after in opposition National Conference is trying level hard for restoration of normalcy and a delegation of opposition party leaders also called upon President of India so as to appraise him of out of order situation in valley. " We have asked our workers to work tirelessly for restoration of normalcy as we want complete peace in state " he said. He further stated that some ministers of government are busy in getting publicity in Jammu when people are dying in Kashmir while rest all are missing and even Chief Minister has come twice or thrice since the trouble erupted and this all shows that government is completely missing on ground.
Castigating PDP for diverting from its policy, Ajaz Jan also said that several protest were staged by Mehbooba Mufti in past years, including in 2010, where instead of helping government to control the situation she decried of excess of forces but is now silent when she is on chair. " When PDP was in opposition, it's leaders sprinkled fuel to the fire and NC, which is is opposition at this time, is acting like angles of peace which shows difference between the constructive approach of both the parties " Jan said while saying that time has come when government should either control the situation or should morally step down.
On 7th of March 2010, Mehbooba Mufti addressed a press conference in Srinagar and termed than government rule a marshal law which was without any base but now she is herself ruling a marshal law type government but with no good control on ground " he said.
She even carried out a number of marches and held protests and tried to act as dear to the people but her real face is open now " he said.
Former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed used to believe on line ' Na Bandook Se Na Goli Se, Baat Bne Gi Boli Se ' and guns are open on civilians in the rule of her daughter " Jan lastly quoted.
