7 months on, ZEO’s office Ramgarh headless 'Apathy of Education Department' 9/28/2016 11:42:31 PM Gurdas Kumar Early Times Report Vijaypur, Sept 28: The lethargy of the School Education Department can be gauged from the fact that ZEO’s Office Ramgarh of district Samba is running headless for the last seven months suspension of pervious ZEO due to non compliance of government order resulting the interim charge was given to the Principal of Government High Secondary School Ramgarh due to which administrative work is suffering a lot. Sources told Early Times that with the non seriousness of School Education Department the administrative work is suffering considerably with non appointment of permanent official to head ZEO Office Ramgarh. "With the suspension of ZEO Ramgarh Subash Chande, Samba district for non compliance of Government order on detachment of teaching staff and subsequent enquiry in this regard was initiated and ZEO has been attached with Chief Education Officer Samba, the charge was assigned to the Principal Government High Secondary School Ramgarh till the appointment of new ZEO but it has been more than seven month no officer was placed on the position," they informed. They further said that the Principal has become overburdened with this additional charge due to which administrative work is not going smoothly in zone. Principal hardly remains present in ZEO Office and runs administrative affair from the school. "There are around 82 government schools and 44 private schools under ZEO Office Ramgarh and there remains hustle bustle throughout the day in the school," they maintained. Sources said that the Principal remains busy in school's administrative work and hardly find time to sort out the issues of other schools. When contacted CEO Samba Ravi Dubey said that the appointment of permanent ZEO Ramgarh will be done by the high authority and till date the principal will remain incharge ZEO.
