Husband among four booked in woman's blind murder | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 22: Police today claimed to have cracked the blind murder mystery of a woman (who was found dead at Sidhra in city outskirts in 2014), with the arrest of husband and three others. Police sources said that deceased identified Shamshed Begum wife of Rashid Ahmed of Dangali was found dead on road side two years ago and initially an inquest proceeding was initiated in this connection. "During the questioning in-laws of the deceased, informed police that they have no information about the death of Shamshed while brother of the deceased stated that her-laws mostly used to harras and torture her (now dead). Police sources further said that the investigation team also produced two witnesses in the court who stated that in-laws of the deceased used to thrash her and one of the witness also stated that he witnessed the incident in which body of the deceased was thrown from a vehicle where she was found dead. On this Police arrested husband of deceased, her brother-in-laws and mother-in-law and a case was registered against them under a murder case. |
